This Tuesday, July 14th, the Windsor Town Planning and Zoning Commission will continue a public hearing regarding the Madina Academy's request to open a private school and daycare facility at the old Windsor Hall Nursing Home site at 519 Palisado Avenue.

The school is currently located at 140 White Rock Drive in Windsor.

The TP&Z meeting starts at 7:00pm in Council Chambers, Town Hall.

Representatives of the Madina Academy have agreed to meet with the neighborhood prior to the TP&Z meeting. They plan to be at Town Hall starting between 5:30 and 6:00pm

Established in 1998, Madina Academy is the first full time Islamic school in the state of Connecticut. It is a private elementary and middle school offering grades Kindergarten to 8.
