Mass. Man Arrested In Windsor On Heroin Charge -- For Second Time In Two Weeks

A Massachusetts man pulled John Lynchover today for not wearing a seat belt had 22 bags of heroin in his car, police said.

This was the second time in two weeks that John Lynch, 25, was caught with the drug in Windsor, police said.

He faces drug and motor vehicle violation charges. Lynch is being held on $50,000 bail and will be arraigned Tuesday at Enfield Superior Court.

Lynch was arrested May 7 after detectives, investigating a string of burglaries, approached his car and found Lynch injecting himself with heroin, police said. He was charged with illegal possession of heroin and other drug charges.

He was pulled over today as part of the Click it or Ticket, a program that promotes compliance with seat belt laws. Windsor Magazine Online
