My Creative Labs SXFI Air headphones are disintegrating and the company won't do anything about it. What was your experience?

I recently discovered that the plastic fabric was distintegrating and I was finding shreds of black plastic in my hair, on my clothes, and on my furniture. I wrote to Creative Labs on November 17, 2020 and sent this photo. Their auto-responder replied that they would respond to in 2 days.

I wrote again on November 21 that I had no response after five days and asked them to respond by end of day Monday, November 23rd.

They wrote back to say their warranty does not apply to damage caused by normal wear and tear.

I replied this is not wear and tear, but the material is disentegrating. And I threatened to create this website.

They asked for the serial number which is sent immediately.

On November 24th they acknowledged receipt of my serial number.

On November 25th they sent a Customer Satisfaction Survey!

Later that day they said this damage is not covered by warranty and they could not assist me any further. I replied that this was not damage... it was defective product.

November 27th I responded to the Customer Satisfaction Survey as not satisfied.
