Firehouse Family Breakfast April 18

Firefighters will hold their annual “Fisherman’s Family Breakfast” at the Hayden Station Fire Company firehouse on Saturday, April 18.  While the event traditionally coincides with the opening of the Shad fishing season, it is open to everyone.

The breakfast takes place from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. You don’t have to make a reservation to enjoy the food and the company.  Just show up, make a $6 donation, and dig in.

The breakfast will be buffet-style and all-you-can-eat.  Pancakes and scrambled eggs with sausage are the main attractions.  Coffee, juice, and milk are included along with toast and butter and maple syrup.

In addition to the food there will be gifts and prizes for the participants.

The Hayden Station Fire Company firehouse is located on Basswood Road at the corner of Pond Road just off Kennedy Road in Windsor.  For more information or to buy tickets in advance, please call 818-5695.
